How this works
VigBreak tracks positive expected-value and arbitrage opportunities and logs a paper bet the moment each signal fires, always before the event starts.
Stake sizes are Kelly-optimised: we run half-Kelly on a 100-unit bankroll, so a stronger edge gets a bigger stake and a marginal one gets almost nothing. To reduce variance, EV bets with odds above 5.0 are not paper-traded. They are still winning signals, just excluded from the ledger. Wins and losses are recorded exactly as they land. We never delete a bet or edit a result.
The number that matters most is CLV. Beating the closing line is the only reliable sign of a real edge.
